Assignment Zero
Background
To complete this assignment, you will need to have completed the reading in the Course Information – Start Here and Required Reading modules. If you are unfamiliar with Desire2Learn Brightspace, or with online learning in general, you may also need to read Using Desire2Learn Brightspace: Instruction Book. You will find a link in the Course Information – Start Here module.
Assignment Instructions
Part 1: Read the material in "Course Information - Start Here."
Part 2: Review the course syllabus carefully. Especially be sure you read the sections about submitting homework and the policy on late work.
Find the dates of the exams by using the syllabus.
Using information from the course syllabus, determine how homework for this course is to be submitted.
Part 3: Post a brief introduction of yourself in the "Introductions" topic of the Discussion Area. Start a conversation by asking a question about at least one other student's introduction. Answer any questions asked of you.
Also consider adding a photograph and other information to your profile. Updating your profile is optional, but it will be easier for other students to relate to you if you do so. (Click the down-arrow by your name and select "profile.")
Part 4: When you have completed the first three parts, create an empty word processing document and paste your introduction (from the Community forum) into it. Paste a photograph or yourself into the document.
In the same document, write the following things:
- Confirm that you have read the entire syllabus.
- Give the dates of the exams.
Upload your document to the assignments tool and submit it.
